A leading Federal Government department is looking to engage a skilled IT Solution Architectto join a highly capable team. In this you will support and assist a holistic approach to the department’s investments and programs to better support citizens/businesses through effective digital services. The successful IT Solution Architect will be offered a 12 month contract with 2 x 12 months of extension options!
The successful IT Solution Architect will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Proven ability to document Azure/.NET based architecture, solutions and processes up to secret level.
- Provide detailed technical advice relating to on premise and cloud architecture and technologies.
- Define modern connected and digital services that will support the delivery of key priorities, integrate government standards, and deliver a simpler modern customer experience.
The successful IT Solution Architect will have experience in the following:
- Experience leading and supporting a team of technical experts in defining guidance, coding standards and best practices for solution development and maintenance.
- Multiple years of Microsoft .NET experience doing full stack development using Azure resources such as Functions, Logic Apps, PaaS SQL, and API Manager.
- Strong understanding of the cyber landscape, and specific Australia Government requirements and best practices along with industry best practices.
- Working under pressure, deliver business outcomes and work effectively as a part of a team with a focus on leading teams to provide quality services to the Department.
