Primary Purpose

The Solution Architect (ServiceNow) is responsible for designing technical solutions with a focus on integrating ServiceNow into Rest’s environment. This role defines, reviews, and takes ownership of solutions, working closely with project delivery and technology teams to ensure quality outcomes and minimize operational costs and risks.

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities

•    Design technical solutions that integrate ServiceNow into Rest’s existing technology environment.
•    Deliver Solution Architecture documentation including conceptual designs, high level designs, technical assessments, options papers, and key decisions.
•    Collaborate with internal and external technology teams to ensure solutions are secure, perform optimally within Rest’s environment, and are aligned with broader technology strategy, standards, and frameworks.
•    Work closely with internal and external teams to ensure successful delivery of the solution by providing guidance, support, and technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle.
•    Develop and maintain key stakeholder relationships that foster collaboration, trust and the achievement of planned outcomes aligned with Rest’s business strategy.
•    Monitor developments within the ServiceNow platform roadmap and assess any implications they may have on solution designs and Rest’s use of ServiceNow.

Qualifications

•    Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline is essential.
•    Master ServiceNow Architect Certification is highly desired.
 

Required experience, understanding or credentials including:

•    At least 5 years’ industry experience as a Solution architect 
•    At least 2 years’ experience designing solutions involving IT Service Management (ITSM). 
•    Solution Architecture experience covering ServiceNow solutions, including integrations with other systems.
•    Experience with ServiceNow modules other than ITSM (GRC, HR, ITAM etc.) will be highly regarded.
•    Excellent stakeholder communication and engagement skills.
•    Experience working with BAs to ensure high quality business and technical requirements.
•    History of developing solutions that are maintainable, scalable, and secure.
