The Opportunity
We are working with a leading Government Department on a Digital Transformation program and have an opportunity for an experienced Domain and Senior Solutions Architect toi join our team.
You will be working closely with internal and vendor architecture teams to align and oversee architectural deliverables. Specific responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining all components of the architecture strategy and vision.
- Engaging with the Program Team to understand the tactical & strategic objectives and requirements.
- Developing working relationships with Enterprise Architecture, Solution Leads, Business stakeholders, development teams and other relevant stakeholders to ensure solution alignment across domains.
- Reviewing and quality-assuring all architectural artefacts and deliverables.
- Directing the construction of architecture components including Data, application and technical architecture.
- Providing technical oversight and facilitating complex issues resolution arising during project delivery.
- Defining the long-term architecture strategy and roadmap for the Program.
This is an initial 12 months contract to start immediately, based in Melbourne's CBD (2-3 days per week) so to qualify you will be able to demonstrate:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Solution Architecture domain.
- Experience in developing architecture strategies and designs for complex, large-scale transformation projects whilst balancing competing project and program, project and organisational goals, as well as tactical and strategic drivers.
- Proven ability to evaluate stakeholder requirements and develop and present solution options to business, senior management and executive stakeholders.
- Strong conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, strong communication and influencing skills, and ability to convey technical and business information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to build productive relationships in a complex stakeholder environment enabled by excellent listening, communication, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills.
