The ideal candidate for the position of Solution Architect SAP brings proven expertise in the cross-functional aspects of SAP S/4 HANA, ARIBA, SuccessFactors, and other SAP systems, including proficiency in enterprise integrations using middleware tools and platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- The Solutions Architect SAP undertakes the analysis of current and planned solution architecture deliverables, ensuring alignment with stakeholder and customer needs through sound Business Requirements Specifications (BRS).
- The architect maintains and take ownership of the solution architecture for the Enterprise Applications platform, with a particular emphasis on SAP.
- The role involves the development of architectures, technical designs, and solutions for programs or projects.
- As the lead technical representative for specified business units or divisions, the Solutions Architect liaises with third parties and vendors/suppliers. They advocate program or project solutions, communicate technical designs, and drive delivery against stakeholder needs.
- The Solutions Architect ensures Solution Assurance, focusing on end-to-end solution architecture and facilitating a team of IT domain specialists and business leads to address project design issues.
- Architecture reviews are conducted according to agreed plans, assessing compliance with architecture.
- Finally, the role involves developing internal capabilities and cultivating external partnerships to enable the delivery of technology for innovation experiments and pilots.
To be successful in the role, you must have:
- At least minimum of 5 years in all facets of solution architecture at a senior level, candidates should demonstrate a strong emphasis on SAP. Successful candidates will showcase proven architecture and analytical skills.
- Experience working with projects as a solution architect to deliver outcomes in SAP S/4 HANA and other related Enterprise applications is essential.
- Upgrade from ECC to SAP S/4 HANA with impact assessment, discovery and solution delivery of the upgrade roadmap is essential.
- Candidates with experience as a Solutions Architect on projects exceeding $10 million, particularly within the context of large-scale government projects, are highly desirable.
- Proven success in partnering with external technology organizations is crucial. Candidates should demonstrate a strong ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
- The ability to understand new technologies and effectively communicate their concepts and relevance in business terms to stakeholders is essential.
