As the Technical Solutions Consulting Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Managed IT and Cybersecurity offerings. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, a deep understanding of the IT and Cybersecurity landscape, and experience with Autotask, Datto RMM, and IT Glue systems.
In this role, you will collaborate with our sales and technical teams to design tailored solutions for our clients, oversee their implementation, and ensure seamless integration with existing systems. You will also provide expert consultation and support throughout the client engagement process, building strong relationships and driving satisfaction. Your work will be instrumental in maintaining our reputation for excellence and innovation in the MSP industry.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
1. Pre-Sales Consulting:
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements and propose tailored Technical Solutions.
- Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, and proof-of-concept (PoC) activities.
- Assist in the creation of proposals, RFP responses, and solution architectures that align with client needs.
2. Post-Sales Implementation:
- Oversee the implementation of solutions, ensuring they meet client expectations and are delivered on time.
- Provide technical guidance and support during the deployment phase.
- Conduct user training sessions and create documentation to ensure clients can effectively use the deployed solutions.
3. Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients throughout the pre-sales and post-sales process.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
4. Technical Expertise and Support:
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends to provide informed recommendations to clients.
- Offer technical support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve client issues post-deployment.
5. Collaboration and Communication:
- Work collaboratively with internal teams, including sales, product development, and support, to ensure cohesive and comprehensive service delivery.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. Technical Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud services, networking, and cybersecurity.
- Proficiency in various software and hardware solutions relevant to the MSP’s offerings.
- Previous experience with Autotask, Datto RMM, and IT Glue systems.
2. Consultative Skills:
- Ability to understand client business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to develop innovative solutions.
3. Communication and Presentation:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to deliver compelling presentations and conduct effective training sessions.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build lasting client relationships.
- Commitment to providing exceptional service and support to clients.
Experience:
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in a similar role within an MSP or IT services environment.
- Proven track record of successful pre-sales and post-sales consulting engagements.
- Demonstrated experience with Autotask, Datto RMM, and IT Glue systems.
