As part of our New Era strategy and growth plans, Barambah Organics are looking for an experienced S&OP Manager to join our business. This is an amazing opportunity to work in a high performing Supply Chain team, leading the Supply and Demand process across our iconic brands.

THE ROLE
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced S&OP Manager to play an integral role in supporting the growth of our business by reviewing our supply and demand requirements. This role will be the centre point for aligning the following teams; farm supply, procurement, production and sales planning.

Reporting to the Supply Chain Director, this hands-on position will identify and lead continuous improvement projects in line with Barambah’s strategic objectives impacting on demand and supply as well as support new product introduction activities. Co-ordination of internal and external stakeholders, and the ability to influence & lead cross functionally at all levels of the organisation will be imperative to succeed in the role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Creation and active management of the business Integration (S&OP) processes to ensure customer service and demand targets are met;
- Identify and drive improvements on key deliverable and KPI targets including: DIFOT, waste reduction, SLOBS reduction, NWC optimisation, service levels, forecast accuracy etc.
- Formulation & Implementation of short & long term business plans for the business to ensure achievement of Category Objectives (Financial and Market) at brand and customer level;
- Partner with the sales and marketing teams to better understand growth plans and competitive lead times to meet future demand;
- Ensure stock availability is maintained at a high level and conduct route cause analysis with recommendation (and implementation) for improvements; and
- Facilitation of stakeholders meeting to ensure future volumes are realistic and supported by assumptions and integrated with Sales & Marketing plans for current and the future year
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Significant experience (5+ years) within the planning and commercial environment within the FMCG or similar fast paced industry.
- High level of business awareness and understanding of the inter-relationships between each function including Supply Chain, Commercial, Marketing and Finance teams.
- Using proven communication and stakeholder management skills to develop trusted and productive internal and external business relationships.
- Prior experience and understanding of S&OP process management.
- A hands-on leader who can execute the planning process and deliver.
- Advanced Excel capability and extensive experience with forecasting / planning programs.
- Strong energy/drive and the ability to meet and exceed organisational goals.
- Microsoft Business Central (Dynamics 365) knowledge beneficial.
