About the teamCommercial is a large but close-knit group. We bring diversity of thought, backgrounds and experience to every business unit at Coles Supermarkets, Liquor and Coles Local. In this permanent role as part of a dedicated and engaged team. You will be responsible for supplier and SKU onboarding and the ongoing management, COGS improvement and sourcing analytics. This role will see you always seeking opportunities for improvement and balancing quality and cost.
You will also:
• Drive new supplier and SKU onboarding process
• Deliver supplier analysis focused on spend, DIFOT and forecast
• Providing operational support for strategic sourcing, contract management, reporting and varied procurement activities
• Support superior supplier performance through continuous performance monitoring and regular supplier collaboration meetings
We are looking for someone who has a strong commercial acumen and an analytical approach to problem solving. You will have demonstrated stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence and drive outcomes.
You'll also need:
• Skills and experience in the retail industry
• Preference given to tertiary qualifications or industry experience in finance or legal
• Proven experience in procurement, supply chain or other commercial functions
• Project management and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and issues simultaneously work within a commercial, fast paced, and complex environment
• Strong inter-personal skills and proven ability to engage internal and external stakeholders
• Strong planning and time management skills
