Sourcing Specialist (Procurement)

The Client & Role:

We are currently working with a Victorian-based utilities client who are looking to bring on a Sourcing Specialist for an initial 12-month contract, you’ll be working under the Procurement Manager to assist the business units and ensure they achieve value for money in transactional and focused procurements.

Responsibilities:

• Managing end-to-end sourcing processes for a diverse range of goods and services, including IT, materials, professional services, and operational services.
• Assisting our client’s procurement team with the preparation of Request for Quotation (RFQ) documents and the evaluation of submissions.
• Aiding in the completion of contracts that align with RFQ outcomes and adhere to our client’s procurement policies.
• Upholding compliance with our client’s policies as well as other relevant Victorian Government procurement guidelines.

Required Skills & Specialisms:

• A solid understanding of Victorian Government Procurement policies and frameworks.
• Familiarity with Zycus e-procurement platform or comparable systems.
• Proficiency in the administration and management of sourcing processes.
• Strong commercial evaluation and analytical abilities.
• High level of proficiency with Workplace systems, including the Office 365 suite and DocuSign.
• Competence in drafting contract templates in accordance with preferred supplier proposals.
