Role Overview:
As the Change Manager you will oversee and support various ICT change initiatives within the organization.
Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will develop and implement effective change management strategies, ensuring seamless adoption of new technologies, systems, and processes.
Your role will involve collaborating with stakeholders at all levels, from executives and department heads to IT teams and end-users, to drive organizational readiness and minimize disruption during change implementation.
You will join an established team, reporting to the Change Lead, supported by Change Analysts and Communication team members.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive change management strategies and plans to support ICT change initiatives within the retail organization.
- Collaborate with project teams, business leaders, and subject matter experts to assess change impact, define objectives, and develop appropriate change management interventions.
- Identify and analyze stakeholders, their needs, and potential resistance to change; devise strategies to engage and gain buy-in from stakeholders.
- Design and deliver effective communication plans, including regular updates, training materials, and documentation, to facilitate smooth transition and end-user adoption.
- Conduct change impact assessments, evaluate risks, and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruption and ensure business continuity.
- Support project teams in defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of change initiatives.
- Provide coaching and support to managers and employees to help them navigate through change and build change management capability within the organization.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of change management activities, gathering feedback and making necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in change management and ICT, incorporating them into the change management approach.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Organizational Psychology, or a related field will be helpful.
- Proven experience as a Change Specialist or Change Manager, specifically with ICT change initiatives within the retail industry.
- Strong knowledge of change management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute comprehensive change management strategies and plans.
- Solid project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Analytical mindset, with the ability to assess change impact, evaluate risks, and develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.
- Relevant certifications such as Prosci Change Management or similar are highly desirable.
