This role is critical in managing our client's procurement activities and contractual obligations.
Our client is an experienced Sourcing Specialist, who has a focus on procurement, logistics and vendor management.
Responsibilities:
- End to end management of procurement processes.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to determine procurement needs.
- Manage the site based warehousing and inventory function.
- Administration of contractual obligations including KPIs, cost analysis, periodic reporting and scope change.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and vendor logistics.
- Adhere to requirements of the internal control framework and compliance with government regulations, and other legislation.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Commerce, Business or a related industry field.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the procurement lifecycle, and experience implementing and managing contracts and purchasing orders.
- Proven ability to build and manage effective working relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
- Previous experience within resources or heavy industrial industry sector/s, highly regarded.
- Proven proficiency in ERP software
- Forklift licence or ability to obtain one.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Proactive mindset with demonstrated experience in delivering results within a time sensitive focussed, commercial environment.
