Sourcing Specialist

This role is critical in managing our client's procurement activities and contractual obligations.
Our client is an experienced Sourcing Specialist, who has a focus on procurement, logistics and vendor management.
Responsibilities:

• End to end management of procurement processes.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to determine procurement needs.
• Manage the site based warehousing and inventory function.
• Administration of contractual obligations including KPIs, cost analysis, periodic reporting and scope change.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and vendor logistics.
• Adhere to requirements of the internal control framework and compliance with government regulations, and other legislation.

Skills and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Commerce, Business or a related industry field.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the procurement lifecycle, and experience implementing and managing contracts and purchasing orders.
• Proven ability to build and manage effective working relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
• Previous experience within resources or heavy industrial industry sector/s, highly regarded.
• Proven proficiency in ERP software
• Forklift licence or ability to obtain one.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Proactive mindset with demonstrated experience in delivering results within a time sensitive focussed, commercial environment.
