Product Sourcing Specialist

This is an exciting full time permanent position based in Sydney. Our client is looking for a sourcing superstar to oversee the procurement of products, utilising top-tier sourcing methodologies, robust commercial strategies, and fostering positive collaborative relationships with both external vendors and key internal stakeholders.Responsibilities of Sourcing Specialist:

• Overseeing the procurement of products and services to meet profitability and service standards aligned with sales and customer strategies
• Utilising commercial expertise to address sourcing inquiries effectively
• Ensuring accurate maintenance of data
• Enhancing processes efficiency through continuous improvement methodologies
• Cultivating robust vendor relationships and coordinating with stakeholders for seamless integration with business operations
• Negotiating product terms with vendors in accordance with company protocols via the ERP system
• Proactively managing vendor delivery performance and rectifying non-conformance issues
• Providing pertinent insights, data, and input to product teams to capitalise on vendor opportunities across product ranges
• Identifying and integrating new vendors to support sourcing requirements

About you:

• Demonstrated experience in procurement and end to end sourcing
• Proficiency in managing diverse sourcing requests
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
• Strong commercial acumen and decision-making skills
• Proficiency in vendor management processes and protocols
• Ability to work 5 days from office
