The Position
As a Security Officer you will be responsible for:
- Providing exceptional customer service
- Retaining knowledge of the South Bank Corporation Act 1989, including powers of exclusion and authorised officers
- Identifying, reporting, and recording risks while on shift
- Assisting customer with a variety of inquiries
- Utilising strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Undertaking conflict resolution and de-escalation methods
- Maintaining a complete understanding of workplace protocols include Emergency procedures.
- Regular foot and vehicle patrolling as well as CCTV monitoring.
Skills and Experience
You will have:
- CCTV and control room operator experience
- Strong customer service with a positive customer experience focus
- A high level of communication skills
- The capability of meeting the physical requirements for a large site
- Proficient computer skills
- Demonstrated at least 3 year’s experience as Security Officer
- First Aid & CPR Certificates
- A Queensland Security License
- Current Unarmed License
- Current Crowd Control License
- Current Monitoring License
- Current Driver’s License
