Your new team:
The Group Security Office is the key point of contact in driving the strategic overview of major product deliveries and programs across the wider group.
The team is responsible for communicating the intentions of key deliverables under the direction of our Chief Security Officer (CSO), while consulting and offering advice and guidance to executive stakeholders on current and future reporting needs, thereby ensuring strategic and operational matters are met.
Your impact and contribution:
The role of Manager - Group Security Office is responsible for managing strategic and operational annual and quarterly processes under the direction of the CSO including, but not limited to, strategy and transformation.
The role will work with the Group Security Leadership Team across Cyber Security, Fraud and Operational Resilience to effectively communicate strategic outcomes, track progress and report on key measures to demonstrate progress toward the Annual Plan.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, this role will see you work autonomously to provide strategic guidance to executive stakeholders, offering key governance and reporting solutions on current and future project and product deliveries.
You will also:
Support the Group Security Leadership Team and Crew Leads, particularly in relation to strategic positioning and communication of security programs to senior and external stakeholders.
Prepare CSO communications to executive stakeholders on progress against planned strategic deliverables.
Compose and shape board papers and executive briefings illustrating cyber security, fraud and operational resilience strategies, programs and posture, and support the CSO with their delivery.
Facilitate the development and monitor the strategic progress against the business' plan for Group Security.
Facilitate Group Security's relationship with Central Tech Teams (e.g. Tech Portfolio Enablement) and drive awareness of central processes across Group Security.
Maintain the quarterly reporting cadence, including driving Group Security Leadership challenge and preparation sessions.
Co-ordinate the Quarterly Business Review and Dependency Marketplace processes, including coaching Group Security teams on quality outcomes (OKRs).
Validate and challenge outcomes, content and reporting provided by teams across Group Security, ensuring quality of data submitted to executive forums.
Support the development and management of stakeholder communication schedules and content.
Support the CSO approval process through collation and validation of approval requests.
Support the Senior Manager in managing the BEAR Statement of Responsibility submission for the CSO including documenting key responsibilities within Group Security.
We are interested in people who:
Have a background in governance and reporting across large-scale product delivery and project rollouts. Have proven experience in establishing and maintaining new governance process. You are able to articulate your previous expertise and produce high-quality written content and reports.
You will bring:
Proficiency in governance and strategic reporting initiatives.
Experience working with executive-level stakeholders and managers.
Proven strategic and analytical thinking skills.
Experience or demonstrable interest in cyber security, privacy or technology fields.
Attention to detail and a willingness to challenge quality outcomes.
