Spare Parts Interpreter - Part Time

The Opportunity

Ventura Bus Lines are looking for an experienced Spare Parts Interpreter to join us on a part-time basis, working three days a week (Monday, Thursday, and Friday) in a job share arrangement.

Join our dynamic team and be part of our commitment to excellence in fleet management. You'll play a vital role in our workshop operations by sourcing, ordering, and distributing parts. This role is essential for maintaining and operating our large fleet of vehicles, ensuring top-notch service for our valued team.

Key Responsibilities

·         Source and order parts efficiently to meet workshop requirements;

·         Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts;

·         Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels;

·         Collaborate with workshop staff to identify and fulfill parts needs;

·         Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards;

·         Maintain a high level of customer service;

What are we looking for?

If you’re passionate about delivering top-notch service and have a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you.

·         Previous experience in a similar role preferred

·         Strong communication and interpersonal skills

·         Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Word and Excel

·         Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities

·         Familiarity with automotive parts and terminology beneficial

·         Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

·         Current drivers licence

·         Forklift licence preferred but not essential
