About the Position

Reporting through to the National Aftersales Network Manager, the primary objective of this position is to build great working relationships with our 39 Service Partners, End Users, Sales Team Members and Technical Team Members and assist them with their Spare Parts orders and enquiries.

Key to your success in this position will be your ability to learn the systems and processes used by our Spare Parts Team as well as your ability to follow these systems and processes with a keen attention to detail and contribute to their improvement over time.

You will be selling Spare Parts for Material Handling Equipment [specifically Palfinger Cranes, Hookloaders, Skiploaders and Tail Lifts] and to do so successfully you will need to develop a good working knowledge of the Palfinger Spare Parts range - which extends to include the tiniest of mechanical parts, through to hydraulic fittings and right up to major components that weigh up to 900kg! 

Excellent product training is available and there will also by a high level of support provided to you from your Palfinger and Sime Darby colleagues across Australia - and more broadly from your Sime Darby colleagues around the world.

• Strong planning and organisational skills – complemented by a methodical approach and strong attention to detail;
• The knack for problem solving – you’ll view problems as opportunities and persist until the best solution is found;
• Good computer skills – we’re in search of a ‘tech savvy’ individual who can bring fresh ideas and new efficiencies, and;
• Sound numeracy and literacy skills.
