Opportunity to join a small team of professional Spatial Analyst supporting the sustainable management of water resources for the environment, communities and industries across NSW.
As a Spatial Analyst, you will provide spatial analytics, data/system development and project support to deliver high quality, reliable water information services and systems. In addition, the role supports spatial users via the provision of specialist advice and integration of spatial capability in agency business practices and insights products.
About You
The preferred candidate will have extensive and contemporary experience in the ESRI suite, development of user centric spatial solutions and expertise in managing multidisciplinary themed data and spatial applications.
You will also have experience investigating and working with new leading edge technologies to analyse and solve complex natural resource management issues, with experience in water, energy or the environment preferred.
With good verbal and written communication, you will have the demonstrated ability to work with diverse internal and external stakeholders collaboratively to develop and maintain fit for purpose spatial data systems, data and products.
Essential Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Spatial Sciences, Science, Natural Resources or related discipline, with a significant demonstrated career focus on spatial sciences.
