About the Role
As a Spatial Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in achieving the IM&T strategic objectives of enhancing the customer experience, increasing value-add to our customers and maximising accessibility and minimising risk. Your role is responsible for maintaining land and spatial information, updating textual and spatial layers to a high level of accuracy and providing timely and accurate information to internal and external customers.
Your role also involves:
- Allocating street, level and unit numbers using the NSW Address Policy and User Manual (APUM)
- Provide specialist advice with respect to the interpretation and use of spatial data sets for business decisions
- Assist customers with house numbering enquires
- Prepare electronic / hardcopy maps that support business processes and strategic business decisions
About You
We are seeking a candidate with tertiary qualifications in a related discipline or significant experience in land and spatial information management, along with knowledge of Local Government systems and NSW property legislation.
The ideal candidate will also have:
- Experience using spatial information viewers and Esri GIS software
- Ability to manage and prioritise large volumes of customer requests
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

- Package: $82,668 - $92,950 gross p.a. plus 11% superannuation.
- Hours of work: Temporary Full Time, 35 hours per week with the option of a 19-day month. This position is expected to be available for a 12 month period.
