Specialised Carer - Residential Care

HammondCare North Turramurra has some exciting Part-Time and Casual positions to fill! With our unique model of care which places the residents needs as your number one priority, you will help create a home away from home for our residents. This role requires you to provide tailored care including but not limited to personal and domestic support within the residential home. Our Cottage style homes provide low and high care for residents with Dementia. You will be running the cottage like a home, which will include:Personal care - showering, grooming, toileting, dressingDomestic assistance - cooking, cleaning and laundryEngaging with the residents, ensuring they are involved in the activities they WANT to do.Recognise, report and respond appropriately to changes in the conditions of residents within your skills and competencies.All new staff will attend an onsite orientation with a Workplace trainer, have buddy shifts and be supported by experienced Registered Nurses and Managers on site.
