About the opportunity
We are looking for EXPEREINCED Specialised Support Workers to work with our clients in a SIL setting. Flexibility to work AM and PM Supporting Individuals in the Group Homes.
Assist our clients with their daily routines and skills, such as - Community access, medication, personal care, domestic duties etc. Manage accurate and detailed shift reports, incident reports and progress notes. Ability to work collaboratively in a team. Implementing complex behavior plans, reporting on the progress and use of these and working with the families to manage these behaviors.
Requirements:
- Experience with trauma-based clients, aggressive behaviors and in a SIL setting - essential
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain)
- Police check (or willing to obtain)
- Current First Aid certificate
- Current CPR certificate
- Current NSW Drivers Licence & access to a reliable vehicle (Optional)
- COVID Vaccine Certificate
- Exp in Mental Health, challenging behaviours/ autism are essential
- Qualification in Disability, Aged Care or related field are essential
