- Lead and support investigations into asset failures and performance, including root cause analysis (RCA)
- Leverage equipment performance data to successfully identify and implement reliability improvement initiatives
- Recommend and implement tactics designed to support high levels of asset safety, reliability, and integrity
- Provide technical engineering support to the site maintenance execution teams
- Actively contribute to asset strategy by developing asset lifecycle plans and zero-based budgets for mobile equipment
- Execute both technical and process-based projects derived to improve the performance of the fleet
- Monitor and analyse the performance of our assets and review primary/ secondary maintenance tasks to improve asset reliability and cost

- Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering (majoring in power system is highly desirable)
- At least 5 years of experience working as an Electrical Engineer in heavy industry or utility on large high voltage / medium voltage systems ranging from 33kV to 220kV and their low voltage auxiliaries
- Deep knowledge of medium and high voltage apparatus, including power and instrument transformers, switchgears, protection relays, circuit breakers, and their auxiliaries
- Experience in asset health, condition monitoring and diagnostic techniques for low, medium, and high voltage assets, including the use of relevant tools and capacity to interpret results and extract actionable conclusions.
- Knowledge of Asset Management frameworks and techniques like RCM, FMEA, RCA, Asset Integrity Assessments and CMMS tools like SAP
- Field experience on commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting practices, including quality control and acceptance criteria for low, medium, and high voltage equipment
- Demonstrated passion for building relationships, coaching, and engagement through excellent communication and teamwork
- Demonstrated complex organisational and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experienced in application of project management principles
