Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to onsite Electrical Maintenance teams, facilitating troubleshooting and rapid resolution of electrical issues to ensure minimal disruption to production schedules
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute electrical engineering projects, including the installation, commissioning, and modification of electrical systems in the fixed plant environment
- Oversee the implementation of preventive maintenance programs for electrical equipment and systems to minimize downtime and maximize operational productivity
- Develop and review engineering documentation, such as technical specifications, drawings, and operational procedures, to maintain accurate records and support the seamless operation of fixed plant electrical systems
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, providing regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders to ensure project milestones are achieved within the specified timeframes and financial parameters
- Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending innovative solutions and best practices to enhance the overall performance and sustainability of the mine's electrical infrastructure
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical engineering or a related field
- Min 5 year experience in Engineering technical role
