Specialist General Practitioner

The Know You Co is a new and innovative specialist General Practice committed to providing personalised, patient-centred healthcare that focuses on chronic disease management and health promotion. TKYC appreciates that complex health conditions require time, a deep understanding of the individual, and that no two health journeys are the same. We value compassion, empathy, and taking the time to work with patient’s on their health goals – fostering collaborative relationships with patients and their healthcare providers along the way. TKYC is on the look-out for GPs who are keen to practice their craft in a new and sustainable way, which is remunerated competitively.

We’re people-people:

• We do it differently. TKYC steps away from the status-quo of high-volume and quick-turnover patient care, instead providing high-quality healthcare in a long-appointment structure (think 30-60minutes) to truly get to know the patient, their conditions, and their health goals. 
• We operate as specialist General Practitioners. We focus on chronic disease management and health promotion. We collaborate with allied health professionals, pharmacists, immunisation programmes, and other GP/non-GP specialists to provide primary health services. This frees up our time to do our thing; re-investing the time back into our patients and being able to respond when life throws them a curve-ball. 
• We prioritise our patient experience. We have a boutique and inviting waiting room, a long-appointment structure that makes them feel listened to, patient welcome-packs, and onboarding processes to inform patients of the multitude of ways TKYC can help support them. 
• We pride ourselves on our administrative efficiency. We’re always ready to try out the latest technology solutions to improve patient experience and Practitioner workflow. Such examples include: AI-enabled note taking and medical summary software, secure cloud software enabling a ‘work-from-anywhere’ approach, and online booking and payments- to just name a few!
• We love collaboration. We always keep our patients and their healthcare team in the loop, and this may include organising multi-disciplinary team meetings to discuss complex cases.
   
• We're GP owned and run. TKYC was founded by Dr Laura Chapman, an experienced and highly regarded GP. Opening its doors in November of 2023, TKYC has already established a phenomenal patient-base of 300+ clients, and an ever-growing waitlist for our services.

• We re-invest in our people. By paying the Practice a fixed consulting fee, we offer you high take-home percentages that are well-above industry standard.

You will be supported by excellent administration staff/Practice Managers, who have each spent multiple years in the medical administration space, accumulating a wealth of industry knowledge and formal training. About You

• You are a General Practitioner with current GP fellowship.
• You have a current and unrestricted AHPRA registration, and full working rights in Australia.
• You have the ability and interest to lead/co-ordinate multi-disciplinary teams to discuss complex patient case(s). 
• You are aligned to TKYC’s values of integrity, compassion, collaboration, respect, and empathy.
• You are eager to practice high-value care to bodies of all sizes, shapes, colours, creeds, and genders.
