Job description

You will ideally possess the following skills and experience: 

  • Extensive experience in hydrogeology.
  • Tertiary qualification in Geology, Science or Engineering (specialisation in Hydrogeology is highly desirable).
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to influence across multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely to non-technical and leadership audiences.
  • Ability to think strategically and quickly grasp technical problems and business requirements.
  • Capability to design groundwater drilling and monitoring programs.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks related to groundwater management.
  • Experience in the mining industry and/or familiarity with the Qld Water Act and Environmental Protection Act is highly regarded.
