Our Technology team is the backbone of our innovative solutions, driving progress and efficiency across our business.As the Vendor and Resource Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the commercial aspects of our Technology team. Your responsibilities will include resource management, project delivery support, and contracts and purchasing management. You will ensure that our processes are well-defined, managed, and executed seamlessly.You will collaborate with line managers to plan, manage, and communicate resource allocation, resolve conflicts, and oversee contractor administration, ensuring accurate timesheet entry and budget reconciliation. You will assist project managers with resource management and reporting, and support finance teams with project financials. Additionally, you will facilitate vendor setup and contract administration, manage renewals, and oversee purchasing processes from requisition to invoice reconciliation. Success in this role is defined by seamless contractor administration, adherence to budgets, efficient resource management, proactive financial support, timely reporting, and 100% compliance with the contract approval process.What you'll bring:
- Minimum 10 years in an administrative role involving purchasing, contracts, and related administration.
- Experience in project environments and project governance.
- Familiarity with Sentient PPM tool and Coupa for Purchasing and/or Contract Management is highly desirable.
- In-depth understanding of project financials and accounting concepts.
- Proven ability to manage vendors and third parties effectively.
- Ability to analyze issues, propose solutions, and collaborate effectively.
- Understanding of accounting principles (AP, AR, General Ledger, Journals, etc.).
- Knowledge of project management principles and governance.
- Experience with contract management.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially SharePoint and Excel.
- Wholesale/B2B or Retail/B2C experience is desirable.
