We are looking for a Specialist – Organisational Change Management to partner with the business to manage Organisational Change deliverables for the closure of Channar and Eastern Range mine sites. This role is responsible for tactical level of the design and implementation of change processes, practices, and tools, based on the Closure Readiness & Transition Plan, to facilitate closure readiness across Greater Paraburdoo Operations.
This role is a great opportunity to apply your industry knowledge to facilitate the OCM (Organisational Change management) deliverables in the Paraburdoo Operational Readiness team. You will problem solve complex issues, support Operational and Study teams, drive the communications and reporting process, and assist in removing roadblocks to eventual closure.
You’ll be part of a supportive team, supported by your Leader to grow and achieve your own personal goals as well as the goals of the team. You’ll work on a 5.2 4.3 roster with Monday – Thursday on site, which will give you more time to spend on the things that are important to you and the people in your life.
Reporting to the Superintendent Closure, you will:
  • Support development of the Closure Readiness & Transition Plan, and be accountable for OCM
  • Co-development of the HR strategy and ‘closure operating philosophy’ for Greater Paraburdoo
  • Develop and implement the OCM and Communication Plan for Channar/Eastern Range closure, contributing to all elements of the change process (stakeholder identification, organisational design, communications, and capability development)
  • Development of operational workforce and recruitment scenarios for closure readiness and execution, including redeployment strategies
  • Support development of business separation strategy, including cessation of services and sourcing contracts
  • Support development of the procurement philosophy for closure, with consideration of local business & Pilbara Aboriginal Business opportunities
  • Contribute to the broader Paraburdoo operational readiness training plan, schedule, and budget with a focus on OCM, business partner collaboration, communication, and capability development
  • Regularly monitor employee sentiment and adoption of change and make adjustments in approach when required
  • Collaborate with the Western Range OCM team on effective OCM and Management of Change (MOC) governance across Greater Paraburdoo
  • Interpreting costs and production drivers to inform strategic thinking and the evaluation and prioritisation of OCM activities
What you’ll bring
  • A commitment to the safety of yourself and our team;
  • Experience in project leadership, change management, communications, stakeholder engagement and working in cross functional teams;
  • Change management certification or designation (for example Prosci) desirable
  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools with a focus on people stream related change
  • Collaborative, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others toward a common vision or goal
  • Ability to build and maintain solid relationships at all levels of the organisation
  • Familiarity with project lifecycle (major and Sustaining Capital), delivery model and interfaces
  • Practical problem solving with a strategic focus
  • Ability to engage in large amounts of detail, but communicate detail and complexity in simple terms
  • Tertiary qualification in relevant field is desirable, for example, Human Resources
  • A Current Western Australian ‘C’ Class Driver's License (Manual)
