We have a new strong and thriving team in our South Walker Creek mine in the Bowen Basin and seek a Specialist Risk and Compliance to support our operations.Your roleReporting to the Superintendent Site Systems and Training, you will be responsible for executing standards and compliance, in addition as Specialist Risk and Compliance you will be responsible for:Develop, maintain and govern requirements for the site’s Safety and Health Management System (SHMS).Maintain SHMS compliance in line with relevant legislative and Stanmore requirements.Govern our risk management requirements.Provide technical support to applicable SHMS access systems which support Coal Mine Workers (CMW’s).Establish and implement a compliance schedule for the SHMS.Identify and lead initiatives to bridge any identified gaps, facilitate change and embed new systems to support the continuous improvement of the SHMS.Lead and participate in audits (internal and external) and provide guidance on safety and/or risk management related matters.Facilitate risk assessments.Assist the site leadership team and key stakeholders to improve risk management and safety onsite.If you have:Certificate IV in Work Health and SafetyMicrosoft programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio)Lead Auditor qualifications (preferred or willing to undertake)Knowledge of Legislation Carry out the Risk Management Process RIIRIS402D (G2)Apply risk management processes RIIRIS301D (S1)Conduct safety and health investigations RIIWHS301D (S2)Communicate information RIICOM301D (S3)Our Benefits include:Work/life balance with 9 day fortnight DIDO or camp/meals provided5 weeks annual leave with option to purchase moreExcellent culture and supportive teamWe welcome applications from all diversity groups.
