About the Role The Fixed Plant Maintenance team are seeking interest for a permanent position to the role of Specialist Trainer at Newman Operations. The opportunity is a residential or FIFO position based in Newman, working on an 8/6 shift roster.
Alternate rosters can be discussed for successful applicants. Responsibilities include:
- Demonstrate commitment and conformance to the BHP Charter, the BHP Group Level Documents, Code of Conduct and relevant statutory obligations.
- Liaise with the Fixed Plant Maintenance, Processing & Mobile Equipment Maintenance Superintendents, Coordinators and Supervisors on technician training requirements.
- Review performance of equipment/personnel and implement training in line with business drivers.
- Ensure technical training of the Fixed Plant Maintenance, Processing & Mobile Equipment Maintenance departments is implemented as planned.
- Ensure training materials are developed and updated in line with WAIO standards.
- Participate and support the Operator Driven Reliability initiatives.
