The opportunity:

Join us in the important role of Specialist - Wellbeing and Injury Mangement, where you will play a hands-on and integral part in implementing and administering Kinetic's health, Wellbeing and Injury Management strategy for our people. You will collaborate on improvement of Wellbeing and workers compensation claims, recovery at work, Injury Management and early intervention strategies in support of Kinetic's overall business plan and strategic direction. Key to the role is building sustainable working relationships with all levels of the organisation and external providers.

You’ll be involved in:
  • Ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, policies, industry standards, and company policies across designated regions.
  • Facilitate and oversee the entire Injury Management process, including the development and implementation of recovery at work programs for injured employees.
  • Engage with workers to encourage active participation in recovery at work, providing information on workers' compensation and the organization's approach to supporting recovery.
  • Collaborate with operational leaders to support workers' compensation compliance, implement best practices in Injury Management, and align with operational needs
  • Support the development and implementation of Health & Wellness initiatives to reduce injuries and enhance the overall well-being of the workforce.
  • Prepare comprehensive case documentation, including recovery at work plans and progress reports, for transparent communication and strategic planning.
  • Regularly engage with medical providers, internal and external stakeholders, attending meetings and appointments to facilitate and support recovery at work.
  • Stay up to date with changes to relevant laws and ensure company policies and procedures align with legislation, codes, and Awards and Agreements.
The boxes you'll tick: 
  • Have proven experience in Workers' Compensation, Rehabilitation, Return-to-Work Coordination, and in occupational Injury Management.
  • Possess a working knowledge of relevant workers' compensation legislation to ensure compliance.
  • Demonstrate experience in influencing leaders and external health professionals to deliver high-quality health, wellbeing, and workers' compensation services.
  • Be self-motivated with an enthusiastic approach to day-to-day business operations and a positive attitude towards a continually changing work environment.
  • Showcase strong computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), and experience with Injury Management software, such as Solv (beneficial).
  • Possess a car driver's license, and have access to your own vehicle for travel requirements.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with workers, leaders, and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset with a positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, challenging, and changing environment.
