Ideally positioned opposite Robina Public Hospital, Robina Private Hospital is the first and only private hospital to locate within the Robina Health Precinct and within close proximity to the precinct’s existing, extensive public services. Robina Private Hospital is a 90 bed private hospital with three specialist mental health and rehabilitation wards along with consultancy, outpatient, mental health and day rehabilitation programs and day surgery services. Sub-specialties include older persons mental health and eating disorders.
The Robina Private Specialty Clinic is a satellite clinic to the hospital and offers psychology, mental health social work, dietetics and speech pathology private consulting services, both face to face and through telehealth.
The role
We are seeking an experienced allied health practice or specialist Clinic Administrator on a full-time basis Monday to Friday and possibly Saturday mornings. The position is responsible for ensuring the provision of efficient and effective administrative support. The Specialty Clinic administrators’ role is to provide exceptional customer service to clinicians and clients at all times.
We are looking for someone with a ‘can-do’ approach who is keen take on a broad range of tasks, is systematic and organised, loves to learn and is solutions focused and able to work independently.
The successful applicant will contribute to our positive workplace culture, both within the Specialty Clinic and Robina Private Hospital, and will be required to undertake other administrational tasks, as directed by Robina Private Hospital’s Administration Manager.
Essential criteria
- Experience in allied health practice or specialist clinic setting
- Previous experience with the use of Cliniko is preferred but not essential
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in Medicare, Health Fund and NDIS billing and telehealth services
- Familiar with all aspects of allied health or specialist practice set up and coordination
- Demonstrated leadership and administration skills / knowledge
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently
- Ability to ensure excellence in customer service
Everyone who joins Robina Private Hospital:
- Must be vaccinated against Covid-19 a vaccine approved by the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation and show proof of immunisation against infectious diseases
- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 3 months of commencement date
- According to the role, may be required to provide a Working-With-Children check
