Speech Language Pathologist

This role is for Allegro Therapy's Mindarie branch, based in the northern suburbs of Perth, Western Australia. We provide comprehensive disability support and therapy services to individuals in need. Our team comprises qualified health professionals and therapy assistants who achieve amazing results for our clients. Role:
This is a full-time role for a Speech Language Pathologist at our Mindarie clinic. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication disorders, including speech and language disorders. You will develop and implement individualized treatment plans, provide therapy sessions, and monitor progress. This role is primarily located in Mindarie, Perth, WA, with the possibility of regional work if desired.
Qualifications:
Strong enthusiasm for Speech Therapy as your chosen career
Expertise in diagnosing and treating speech disorders, dysphagia, and communication disorders
A passion to work with autistic people
Familiarity with language disorders and their treatment
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Empathy and patience in working with individuals with communication difficulties
Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans or to learn how to do this with the guidance of your mentor
Adaptability and flexibility in a multi-disciplinary allied health environment
Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Relevant certifications and licenses
Experience working with diverse populations and age groups
