Role Description
We are looking for a full-time Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Port Kennedy, WA. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication and speech disorders in children. You will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized treatments plans, which may include developing new Speech Language and communication programs and providing feedback and education to clients and families. Your daily work closely involves collaborating with other healthcare professionals and gathering patient feedback through the therapy process.
Qualifications
A master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD), Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology from an accredited institution. Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred but not essential
Experience with working with children and adults with a range of speech, language, and/or communication disorders or difficulties
Excellent communication skills and a strong focus on evidence-based practice
Strong ability to work independently and also as part of a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating high level of professionalism, flexibility, and proactive recommendations
Current Valid Driver's License and own transport
