About the role
In this role you will provide a high-quality speech pathology service to inpatients and/or community patients of Calvary Health Care Kogarah. You may cover the rehabilitation, aged care or palliative care caseloads.
Your main duties will include:
- Provide a diverse range of speech pathology service to patients of Calvary Health Care Kogarah.
About you
- Qualifications in accordance with Schedule C of the NSW Health Service Health Professionals (state) Award and eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
- Demonstrated core competency skills in Speech Pathology with the ability to translate across clinical areas (predominantly Rehabilitation and Palliative Care).
- Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to proactively engage with patients/clients to enhance service delivery.
- Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and to exercise independent professional judgement on routine matters, commensurate with years of experience.
- Demonstrated high level computer skills with the capacity to use and easily learn new health information systems.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement and evidence based practice and a commitment to ongoing clinical and professional learning.
- Current unrestricted Class C Drivers licence
- Ability to work within the Mission and Values of Calvary Health Care Kogarah
