Speech Pathologist

About the role

Interim Care Position:

• The purpose of this position is to apply Speech Pathology skills and knowledge in the assessment and treatment of patients on a residential aged care pathway in order to maintain their health, functional ability and quality of life.
• This position will provide Speech Pathology clinical services to the consumers on the Interim Care ward at Brighton Health Campus, four days per week.

Specialist Residential Aged Care Position:

• The purpose of this role is to apply Speech Pathology skills and knowledge in the assessment and treatment of residents in the Specialist Residential Aged Care facilities; within the context of a multidisciplinary framework ensuring their practices adhere to the Residential Aged Care Standards and National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards.
• This role will provide Speech Pathology clinical services to Gannet and Cooinda Houses, one day per week.
