As the Senior Speech Pathologist you will apply independent professional judgement to a complex and varied caseload and demonstrate the ability to adapt routine clinical practice based on valid and reliable evidence.

About the role
Provide high level speech pathology clinical services across a broad range of clinical services within the speech pathology team and multi-disciplinary team contexts. Contribute to the advancement of Speech Pathology services across the West Moreton Hospital and Health Service through the provision of clinical leadership for service development, quality improvement, education and research activities.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Demonstrated high level of clinical services and leadership in speech pathology acute practice with demonstrated ability to provide high level clinical advice and expertise in accordance with organisational goals.
- Excellent communication skills with clients, service providers, co-workers, and managers at all levels that enable the development of improved service delivery outcomes and effective relationships.
- Proactive approach to own continuous learning / networking and shares information with the team to promote a learning environment.
- Demonstrated ability to initiate, plan, implement, and evaluate local service improvement and/or research initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to provide clinical supervision to speech pathology staff and students.
