We are currently looking for a passionate and caring Speech Pathologist to work both clinic and community settings, where you may need to visit local schools or community facilities.
Our perfect candidate should have at least two years of experience working with children.
Responsibilities:
● Development and implementation of individual, group and home/outreach programs to children and their family following a family-centred model of practice;
● Ongoing evaluation of the effectiveness of intervention to inform clinical practice e.g. client re-assessment, evaluation of attained goals, and collation of feedback from families;
● Efficient and timely record keeping, correspondence and report writing in line with clinics policy and NDIS/funding requirements;
● Collaboration and timely communication with clinics management, team members and administration;
● Liaising and collaborating with other agencies i.e. other therapists, schools and healthcare providers, to ensure efficient, appropriate and coordinated care;
● Working within a range of funding systems including NDIS and Medicare
Requirements
- Bachelor of Speech Pathology
- Current Speech Pathology Australia Membership (Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist (CPSP) status)
- Medicare Provider Number
- Working with Children’s and Police Check -
- NDIS Worker Screening check and other pre-employment checks
- Driver’s License and access to a car
