JOB DETAILS:This is an exciting opportunity to work within a North West Queensland Hospital setting as a locum Speech Pathologist within a team of multi-disciplinary clinicians. This is a locum or fixed short term opportunity with flexible dates (minimum 4 week contract), Immediate start available.
You will work with patients of all ages, addressing issues related to swallowing and communication.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages, including paediatric cases with swallowing and feeding difficulties and adults with swallowing and communication disorders.
- Provide care to both inpatients and outpatients, with a possibility of involvement in the emergency department for acute stroke cases.
- Manage a caseload that includes two dedicated rehabilitation beds, offering specialised care to patients on their journey to recovery.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Social Workers, Dietitians, and Allied Health Assistants.
