Language and Speech are an independent, family-run speech pathology clinic who have been operating for the past 13 years. We are looking for an experienced Speech Pathologist to become part of our supportive paediatric team.

The successful applicant will be based at our Springfield office, less than 30 minutes from Brisbane, and sessions will be a combination of clinic and community visits to support our participants and families to meet their goals.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Assessing participants to establish strengths and difficulties utilising both standardised and non-standardised measures
• Establishing goals and providing functional intervention to support participants and families to achieve their goals
• Providing best practice, evidence-based intervention that increases participants life skills and independence
• Clear and concise ability to record, interpret and report participant progress
• Work collaboratively with a range of key stakeholders to support participants to achieve their goals
• Communicating and engaging with outside agencies regarding participant progress 

Requirements

• Bachelor of Speech Pathology or Masters of Speech Pathology 
• Member of Speech Pathology Australia 
• Current Blue Card, National Criminal History check and Working with Children check 
• Medicare provider number 
• NDIS Workers Screening check
• Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate
• First Aid Certificate
• Unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence and reliable access to a registered, roadworthy and fully insured vehicle
• Familiarity with Cliniko scheduling software a bonus however not essential
