We are looking for a full-time, permanent Speech Pathologist to join us. Speechling is primarily a clinic-based service.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide assessment and therapy to clients in the clinic or via Telehealth
- Complete documentation in a timely manner (e.g. progress notes, reports, letters)
- Manage own bookings
- Collaborate with key stakeholders and external health professionals
- Attend weekly team meetings to discuss client cases and access professional development
- Occasionally visit clients in the community

Essential Criteria
- Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
- SPA membership
- Current Working With Children Check
- National Police Check
- Full Australian Working Rights
- Eligibility for Medicare Provider Status
- Professional indemnity insurance
- Ability to work independently and seek clinical guidance as needed for safe and quality practice
- Organisation and time-management skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of the principles of evidence based practice
- Commitment to professional development
Desired Criteria
- 1-2 years experience working as a Speech Pathologist
- Experience working with the NDIS
- Experience or interest in working with (external) multidisciplinary teams
- Driver’s Licence
- Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate
