Light Coordination and Therapy Services (LCTS) is seeking a passionate and kind Speech Pathologist to fulfill an exciting role to work across both a paediatric and adult case load. Experienced therapists are encouraged to apply. There is the opportunity for full time, or part time work either within the Southern or Northern suburbs of Adelaide, and this would be a working from home based role providing mobile services to individuals.

About the role:
The successful candidate will provide evidence-based, client centred Speech Pathology assessment and intervention for children, young people and adults with disability. The successful candidate will:
- Provide assessment and intervention to clients with communication difficulties to help them achieve and maintain optimal independence and quality of life.
- Educate parents and other careers involved in the clients care in communicating effectively with the child.
- Work with other professionals to deliver effective therapeutic outcomes to reach functional goals.
- Develop augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems tailored to individual clients needs.
- Work within a multi-disciplinary team including Occupational Therapists, Social workers, and Support Coordinators to ensure a ‘wrap around’ approach is utilised.
- Work from home and support participants through mobile community or participant home based services.
- Complete NDIS reports.
- Organise your own calendar.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Speech Pathology (or equivalent).
- Certified Practicing Speech Pathology Australia membership.
- NDIS experience and understanding is preferrable but not essential.
- A passion for assisting clients to reach their full potential.
- Strong time management skills.
- A high level of written and verbal communication skills.
- Current driver's license and registered vehicle.
It is a requirement of this position that the successful incumbent maintains a current Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screen Check which is satisfactory to LCTS in accordance with the Child Safety (Prohibited Persons) Act 2016 (SA).
