Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW) is a growing sub-regional health service which provides best-practice clinical care to the Central Hume region. NHW offers exciting clinical diversity with an extensive range of acute, sub-acute, aged care and community services. We have recently undergone a redevelopment with an expanded emergency department, medical ward, new ICU and redeveloped paediatric, special care nursery and maternity wards.
We are seeking a motivated, dynamic and solution focused Speech Pathologist to join our team within a caseload rotation position across the admitted and community sectors. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician wanting to commence their career or expand their knowledge and skills within an innovative speech pathology team in public health.
The successful applicant will initially hold an inpatient clinical portfolio within our acute setting. In this role, the successful applicant will be required to deliver high quality, evidence based speech pathology assessment and intervention. There are opportunities to actively participate in discipline quality improvement projects, along with multidisciplinary organisational initiatives.
The NHW speech pathology team consists of ten skilled and motivated Speech Pathologists who regularly participate in, and offer, clinical supervision and an internal professional development program. Our team share a wide range of adult & paediatric clinical skillsets and support one another with opportunities for clinical and professional growth.
