The Personnel Group - Health team are qualified health professionals located in the inner west and northern suburbs of Melbourne as well as some parts of Regional Victoria, New South Wales and the ACT. Whilst we work alongside the Personnel Group, the Health team provides a separate range of services. Our team is passionate about working together to support our participants needs. Our participants are referred to us in many ways including NDIS, Medicare and privately funded appointments. We provide our services in our modern clinics along with school supports.
We are currently looking for Speech Therapists to work in our Altona clinic. These are preferably full-time roles, flexible work arrangements and part time applications will be considered.
We are seeking clinicians who are self-motivated, with a passion for helping participants achieve their goals, and who is excited about working within a multi-disciplinary team. We are open to qualified candidates with all levels of experience.
The role
Working with participants aged from 5 years with a range of presentations including, but not limited to; autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays and physical disabilities. You will have the ability to assess their needs, design and implement individual therapy plans and support them towards achieving their goals. You will see participants for appointments in our clinic rooms, at their school or over telehealth.
You will collaborate with participant’s families, medical practitioners, schools, and allied health professionals as required. You will complete case management notes and report writing for your participants.
KPI’s are based on therapy planning and goal achievement, and there are no KPI’s on billable hours.
Our administration team will manage your calendars and invoicing, so you can focus on what you do best!
What are we looking for?
Completion of a bachelor's degree in related discipline
Current registration with AHPRA.
Experience with working with a variety of different presentations is highly regarded (these should be listed in your cover letter as a reference)
Demonstrated ability to undertake research, analyse information and prepare associated reports.
Well-developed written communication skills with the ability to provide high quality professional reports and case notes.
Well-developed verbal communication skills with the ability to engage with a diverse client group and to effectively communicate with stakeholders in a manner appropriate to the audience.
