As SA’s largest not-for profit provider of disability services, Minda provides supported independent living accommodation, supported employment and community engagement options, as well as therapy and respite services.
Minda Allied Health is on the path of significant growth of the Allied Health team. Minda is currently constructing new consulting suites, purpose-built gym, team office and upgrades to our pool and hydrotherapy services.
We would love to hear from Speech Pathologists enthusiastic about joining us to support people living with a disability (part-time or full time).

What you will do:
- Provide speech pathology assessment and recommendations for people living with a disability who need support for swallowing/dysphagia and communication.
- Provide management, intervention, training and support with implementation of recommendations for the person, their family and support workers/staff.
- Maintain positive professional relationships and act as a liaison and advocate for people who access Minda’s services, their families, carers and other professionals.
- Collaborate with co-workers in the Minda Allied Health team to provide a multi-disciplinary approach.
- Participate proactively in clinical supervision and, if required, student supervision.
- Assist to develop and maintain systems and procedures that support and empower people with disabilities.
- Maintain documentation to a high standard.
What you need:
- Completion of a Speech Pathology Degree accredited by Speech Pathology Australia (SPA).
- Practising Membership of SPA.
- Experience providing speech pathology support to clients living with disability or a neurological condition.
- Knowledge of assessment and management of complex swallowing disorders (Dysphagia).
- Knowledge of and interest in supporting people who require Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).
Other:
- NDIS worker clearance.
- Current unrestricted SA drivers’ licence.
