About the Role
- As a member of the Health Services team, you will provide high quality, culturally appropriate and evidence-based therapy services to our clients.
- The position is based in Karratha and is part of a multi-disciplinary team, providing patient-centred care to people in the West Pilbara.
- This role will suit an enthusiastic and client-centred Speech Pathologist seeking to work with a diverse client group.
- The focus of this role is making a positive difference to individuals with a disability, including providing assessments and treatments, guidance and education to individuals and their carers.
- We also offer community outreach so occasional overnight travel will be required – a great way to see some hidden parts of the Pilbara.
- Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology that meets eligibility requirements for the relevant Australian registration body
- Demonstrated cultural competency
- Experience in managing a general client caseload.
- Current or ability to obtain NDIS Worker Screening Check, working with children check, current first aid qualification, current WA C class driver’s license or transferrable equivalent
- It is a requirement of this position that the employee be vaccinated against COVID-19 as required under the Public Health Act 2016 (WA) and Health Worker (Restrictions on Access) Directions (No 2)
- Competitive base salary ($75000.-$95000) plus generous salary sacrificing options
