(HEO8) $106,561 - $119,550 per annum plus an employer contribution of 17% superannuation applies.

Fixed-term position available for 2 years either at full-time or part-time (0.8FTE) for the right candidate.

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sponsorship & Community Relations Manager to join our Media and Corporate Relations branch. Reporting to the Director, Corporate & Government Relations, the ideal candidate will be responsible for securing funding and benefits by managing and negotiating sponsorship agreements for University programs and events. The role also responsible for securing, stewarding and activating deliverables for initiatives through memberships with industry bodies, associations and chambers of commerce. A key focus of the role will be to establish and build strong relationships with industry and community partners and provide reporting, value assessment and recommendations on strategic alignment. This role will work closely with the Marketing, Brand and Events teams and other relevant internal stakeholders, to ensure successful stakeholder collaboration and project work.

To be successful you will need: 

• Relevant work experience in sponsorship, business development and/or corporate partnerships.
• Demonstrated experience in working to agreed financial sponsorship/business development targets.
• Experience in preparing detailed reporting and analysis on the sponsorship engagements and the return on investment.
• Strong communication skills with proven experience in delivering sponsorship outcomes.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to deliver results.
