About the Role:
Sports Support Officer - Immediate start
The OAGS Academies are the heartbeat of the co-curricular offerings of the School. Through them, our students are given a wide variety of opportunities to pursue their interests beyond the classroom. We encourage all students to participate in extra and co-curricular activities to complement their academic program.
The OAGS Sports Academy recognises and celebrates the profound importance of sports in the holistic development of our students. Through a diverse range of sporting activities, we aim to cater to the varied interests and talents of our students, fostering a love for physical activity that will last a lifetime. Whether on the field, court, or track, our students learn the value of fair play, dedication, and the pursuit of excellence.
The Sports Support Officer is responsible for working closely with the Leader of Sport to ensure that all internal sporting events and all extra curricular and representative sport is well organised and administered and communication with students, staff and parents is clear and effective.

About You:
We are looking for someone who can address the following selection criteria:
- Experience in Sports organisation and administration
- Be a team builder, fostering collaboration and commitment
- Exercise leadership with integrity, loyalty and honesty
- Display high levels of organisational skills, communication, punctuality and adaptability
- Willingness to contribute to the co-curricular life of the school and attending overnight sports trips as required
- The ability to develop positive relationships based on mutual respect, patience and understanding and commitment to teamwork
- Characteristics that provide a positive role model to students at the school both in their professional and personal life
- Active and committed to Christian faith and ethos of the school
- Understanding of and adherence to Child Safe Standards and Student Duty of Care
