What you'll be doing
The Purpose of the HiTH Administration Officer Level 3 is the Provision of a high quality, professional administrative service for the HiTH Service, with an emphasis on expert and courteous customer service, encompassing staff, patients, carers, and stakeholders.
This includes the competent and proficient operation of the HTH main office including the Reception, Switch, Motor Vehicle Fleet, and support of HiTH Clinician from an administrative and technological perspective.
The HiTH Administration officer level 3 is responsible for the management of the HiTH Satellite Offices located on Westmead Hospital and Blacktown Hospital Campuses.
The HiTH Administration Officer is responsible for the management of office Supplies and office Equipment.
The HiTH Administration Officer provides relief and support to the HiTH Data Officer in the patient Registration and Discharge requirements of HiTH patients in the WSLHD patient Administration System (iPM) and Cerner PowerChart, and data reports as required.
This position requires rotation across the 7 days per week during business hours.

Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated well developed clerical skills and experience in an administrative officer/ ward clerk role with a working knowledge of hospital and health care clerical procedures.
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with staff and relevant stakeholders.
- Excellent time management and organisation skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and use initiative
- Demonstrated high- level ability in the provision of Reception and Switch duties, and in the technological support for clinicians in a Windows-based environment
- Current NSW Driver Licence and a willingness to learn and support clinicians in the effective management of the HITH Motor Vehicle Fleet
