About the opportunity We are seeking a highly motivated, appropriately qualified and experienced person to be a part of our Sports Clubs Liaison team. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity where you will be responsible for providing support in relation to the management and operation of community and recreation facilities across the city. Your role as Sports and Greenspaces Administrator is critical in liaising with sporting bodies, clubs and external parties with regard to ground and facility allocation and providing high-level professional advice for the successful administration of sporting facilities within our city. The key responsibilities of the role include: Assist in the management and bookings for the efficient use and allocation of sports fields, amenities and other Sports and recreation infrastructure Manage day-to-day administrative tasks including sports club scheduling, community events bookings, record maintenance, and communication with stakeholders Providing a high level of customer service, with regular and clear communication regarding sports grounds, open spaces areas and other park and recreation facilities Qualifications and experience Essential: The preferred qualification for this job is a tertiary qualification in Business Administration, Sports Management, Recreation and/or relevant experience in a similar position Solid experience in an administrative function or similar role Experience in managing community sporting facilities and the proven ability to work in a rapidly changing environment Experience in the promotion and organisation of events and functions Demonstrated customer service and correspondence skills Demonstrated experience using computer software programs including Microsoft Office and the maintenance and development of databases Ability to work within…
