About the vacancy
Working as part of a team, our Sports Turf Team Members carry out maintenance and repair works to Council’s sportsgrounds and reserves ensuring the grounds are prepared for sporting use. Main duties include operating ride on mowers, tractors, and using other turf detailing equipment. Our Team Members also undertake general horticultural and irrigation maintenance, and turf line marking.

About you
We are seeking applications from candidates who have an MR truck licence, a Certificate 3 in Horticulture or Irrigation, and experience in managing sportsgrounds would be highly regarded.
The successful candidate will be a team player who has a strong customer service focus, can work taking pride in delivering quality sportsground maintenance services to the community.
The position is offered on a full-time permanent basis and classified at the ME5 level, with an annual starting salary of $70,008 per annum plus superannuation.
