Precise Fire provides a range of independent consulting, procurement, installation, commissioning and testing services that are at the forefront of fire and emergency prevention and risk minimization. We are part of the Precise Air Group of Companies with offices throughout Australia.
Due to our continued growth, we are looking to employ a Sprinkler Fitter located in Sydney.
To be considered for this role, you must hold a current Sprinkler Fitter trade certificate and be registered. This role is both technical and administrative therefore a good understanding of systems, process and paperwork is essential. You will be involved in inspections and testing, breakdowns, reactive works and minor installations.
About the role: $3,000 Sign On Bonus
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Sprinkler systems
- Fire pumps
- All types of suppression systems including gas, foam chemical and deluge.
- Hydrant and hose reel systems
Additional responsibilities include testing and support on:
- Fire panels and detection systems
- OWS and EWIS systems
- Portable fire extinguishers
- Fire doors
Skills and Experience
- Qualified Registered Sprinkler Fitter
- You will have a good working knowledge of Australian Standards AS 2118, BCA and AS 1851 – 2012
- You will have a minimum of 5 years in a similar role
- Understanding of testing and repairs to fire systems
- White card and Work Cover industry card
- MS office experience
