We are looking for an experienced and registered Sprinkler Fitter to join our Fire Service Division based in Sydney. The role will involve conducting inspection & testing in accordance with AS1851-2012, corrective and reactive maintenance; and 24/7 emergency services for our clients' fire assets.
Here’s a snapshot of your day:
Routine inspection & testing of wet fire systems in accordance with AS1851-2012
Providing service and repairs to various types of fire equipment.
Provide solutions to our customers where investigations and recommendations are required and assist with quote development.
Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective part or blockage, adjusts, alters, repairs, calibrates, and reassembles device using basic hand tools.
Establishing and maintaining strong client relationships
Mentoring and supervising apprentices
Determining job priorities and meeting deadlines with minimal supervision
Coordinating, compiling and submitting the necessary paperwork and other procedures daily.
Attending call-outs as per rostered requirements, including afterhours roster.
Maintaining industry knowledge and monitoring market developments, keeping up-to-date with the latest changes and advances in fire technology and relevant Australian Standards
Commitment to the highest standards of business code of conduct, aligned with expectations on ethical behaviour according to company values
Complying with company and client HSEQ policies and procedures
The Ideal Candidate:
Experience in the fire industry
Be a registered Sprinkler Fitter
Sound Knowledge of Australian Standards
Current Blue/White Card
EWP License
Ability to work autonomously and effectively in a team
Excellent time management skills
Strong English verbal and written communication skills
